Buzz Watch: The White Stripes New Album Rocks on both Digital, CD and Vinyl

Authored by Jay Baage on June 18, 2007 - 9:40pm.
WhiteStripesRelease The American duo The White Strips transcend time. Not only do they sound like they made their music in the 60s or the 70s, they have people standing in line for the new album at the now closed Tower Records store in Hollywood, reopened just for this! Plus they break new records in sales of vinyl. Yes, that’s right, seven-inch black vinyl discs. The White Stripes is a band that just sounds better on vinyl. It's as simple as that.

Home Entertainmet Presidents Panel
The presidents of the six major movie studios' home entertainment divisions participated in a panel discussion at the DVD&Beyond Conference in Los Angeles on Monday. Buzz Watch: Coca-Cola and the Future of (Robot) Marketing?

Authored by Jay Baage on June 18, 2007 - 6:43pm.
Coca-Cola has a new promotion in Tokyo featuring a giant robotic Coke machine know as “Vending Machine Red” that is making appearances around town, according to Laughing Squid. As part of the campaign, Coke has created an awesome series of Vending Machine Red commercials. What I like is that they are done in the style of a 1960’s Japanese Tokusatsu live-action television show and it doesn't matter if you speak Japanese or not. You get it. Check it out. I want to buy a coke from this machine.
