New York - Mansueto Digital, the online arm of the company that publishes INC and Fast Company magazines, on Wednesday announced FastCompany.TV, an online video network that will feature content from the magazine and feature blogger Robert Scoble as its managing director. Scoble's daily video series, ScobleTV, will also be featured on the site, slated to debut in March.

Electronic Arts to Release "Spore" for Mac

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts (NASD: ERTS) has announced that it will release a version of its forthcoming game "Spore," from "Sims" creator Will Wright, for the Mac platform -- part of the company's initiative to publish more titles for Mac users. Both a PC and Mac version of the game will be released some time later this year.

Analysis: Ticketmaster Leads Online Ticket Reselling Traffic For Hannah Montana

Ticketmaster has purchased secondary market ticket seller TicketsNow.com (WSJ cites price of $265 million) in an effort to capture (and share with partner venues, artists, etc.) more revenue from ticket reselling. This move will help Ticketmaster compete more directly with StubHub, which eBay purchased in January 2007. Each of the two combinations are compelling – the market leader for ticket sales moving more aggressively into ticket reselling (Ticketmaster also operates Ticketexchange, a smaller service in terms of market share, to resell tickets), going against the online market leader for reselling almost anything.

Video Game Industry Creating Political Action Committee

New York - The video game industry, through its Entertainment Software Association (ESA) trade group, intends to create a political action committee (PAC) and begin making donations to politicians and candidates that support their views, The New York Times reports. "We will be writing checks to campaigns by the end of this quarter," ESA CEO Michael D. Gallagher told The Times. "This is an important step in the political maturation process of the industry that we are ready to take now. This is about identifying and supporting champions for the game industry on Capitol Hill so that they support us."

Los Angeles - 60Frames Entertainment, a producer and syndicator of Web entertainment content that was incubated by United Talent Agency and cable TV ad reseller Spot Runner, on Tuesday introduced launched its first slate of programming. The Los Angeles-based company's first programs include "Cockpit," a comedy series developed by the creators of Internet series "Prom Queen," and "Erik the Librarian Mysteries," which is written and directed by TV writer Brent Forrester ("The Office").
