Analysis: HD VMD - Better Red Than Dead?

Authored by Paul Sweeting on March 10, 2008 - 1:37pm.

And yet the company refuses to give up, recently going so far as to hire Michael Solomon, a well-regarded TV industry veteran, as its new chairman to try, once again, to attract interest in the format from U.S. program suppliers.

MobLogic.tv Gets It Right

Authored by Jay Baage on March 10, 2008 - 6:02am.
MobLogic.tv is a web video show that covers news, politics, and pop culture (embedded above). Every day the talented host Lindsay Campbell (of WallStrip-fame) hits the streets to find out what issues are on the minds of Americans. I very seldom see online video shows getting it right, but MobLogic comes pretty close, as far as I'm concerned. The editorial topics, the length of the episodes, the tone, the live polls of New Yorkers on the street, the user-friendly interface with interactive buttons for embedding and viral sharing - it's all very well done. Check it out, it just went live.
