Frankfurt - Wireless carrier T-Mobile plans to sell Apple's (NASD: AAPL) forthcoming iPhone 3G 8GB for as little as 1 euro ($1.54) in Germany to customers who sign up for a 69 euro ($106.77) monthly contract, Reuters reported. The 8GB model will sell from T-Mobile for between 1 and 169.95 euros, depending on the corresponding service plan, while price points for the 16GB model will start at 19.95 euro and top out at 249.95 euros ($386.82) with a 29 euros per month ($44.88) service contract. Chicago - United Airlines (NASD: UALA) announced on Monday that it has added iPod and iPhone connectivity to its in-flight entertainment system, which will enable passengers to view video content stored on the players on a 15.4-inch personal TV. Technology for the connectivity was developed by Panasonic Avionics Corporation. The feature will be offered primarily on trans-Atlantic routes. United said its entire fleet of international, widebody aircraft are being reconfigured over the next two years with iPod connectivity, other on-demand entertainment and lie-flat seats in first and business class.
