Moscow - 1C Company, a Moscow-based video game publisher, announced on Thursday that it has acquired fellow Russian game publisher and distributor BUKA for an undisclosed sum.

New York - Atari announced on Thursday that it will distribute five new titles from Russia-based developer 1C in the fall. They include "Swashbucklers" for PC and PlayStation, and "You Are Empty," "Death to Spies," "Dawn of Magic" and "Fantasy Wars" for PC. Separately, Atari said it shipped "Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics" for PSP to retailers, the first D&D title for a next-generation portable game platform.
