Latest Search Numbers: Google Climbs Back Above 60%

Last month Hitwise released the latest numbers on executed searches by search engine. A lot of attention was paid to Google's slide in August below its high north of 60%. As we stated in our post last month, August's dip was likely a short term phenomenon.

The table below appears to confirm that.

Search Numbers 

Hitwise search numbers are compiled each week based on a four week rolling average. I will post a special update next week to examine if there was any changes in rank based on the re-launch of MSN Search on Windows Live.
