Ned Sherman at DMFE 2007 Dear Digital Music Forum East Participants,
Thank you for participating in Digital Music Forum East in New York City this week. We are pleased to report that we had a record high 523 participants at this year's event. From the networking to the stimulating discussions to the live music and receptions, the event was a great success.  All of us at Digital Media Wire certainly appreciate the time and effort that everyone put into making the 7th annual event such a great success. We also want to thank our co-hosts - the Consumer Electronics Association and Billboard - and our sponsors and media partners.

During the extended two-day event, key decision-makers from music and technology companies debated many of the hottest issues from the future of DRM to digital copyrights to the evolution of live music events. We also heard from top exexcutives at all four of the major labels - Sony BMG, Warner Music, Universal Music and EMI Music, who gave the audience an update on how they are evolving their businesses to adapt to the new digital world.

We very much look forward to hosting the conference again in New York City in March 2008. To view editorial coverage and photos of the event, click here. We also welcome your ideas on how to grow the event. Please send your ideas to: music@digitalmediawire.com.

Finally, we hope to see you at Digital Music Forum West in Los Angeles on October 3 and 4.

Until then, keep updated on the latest industry news at www.dmwmedia.com and stay ahead!

Sincerely yours,
Ned Sherman
