Today the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that it has invested in and will sponsor and provide promotional support for two of our events - Future of Television Forum and Digital Music Forum EAST. This is a significant development which not only brings together two industry leading organizations but also signals the growing relationship between the consumer technology and content communities.

This news comes at the end of a very busy summer for us, which included the launch of two new Los Angeles-based events – Digital Music Forum WEST (Los Angeles, October 4-5) and the LA Games Conference (Los Angeles, November 7-8) and the launch of our new online news site and community – www.dmwmedia.com – showcasing a searchable news and information database, new daily content, including blogs, career moves and video (coming in October through our broadband video partnership with Whiteblox) and a growing community of senior media, entertainment and technology executives.
