Centennial, Colo. - National CineMedia (NCM), a provider of in-theater digital programming and advertising, said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with movie exhibitor National Amusements, to offer live and pre-recorded events in 25 of its theaters in multiple U.S. markets. National Amusements will offer music, sports and other entertainment events from NCM's Fathom division over its Cinecast network. NCM said its Cinecast network will soon exceed 300 theaters, including many owned by NCM backers AMC, Cinemark USA and Regal Entertainment.
