Koopa's "Blag, Steal & Borrow" reached No. 31 on the U.K. singles chart last week. Santa Monica, Calif. - Canadian film studio Lionsgate announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Habbo, to allow members of the online teen community to provide feedback on a potential filmmaking endeavor. Habbos will be able to view ten different animated shorts based on the Habbo World -- featuring styles ranging from CGI to Flash to 2D animation -- and vote on whether Lionsgate should produce and distribute a longer feature film based on one of the styles for release on DVD and the Internet. Tokyo - Japanese wireless developer NTT DoCoMo on Tuesday introduced several new mobile phones, including one with a touch-sensitive screen and another that features aromatherapy skins. The D800iDS clamshell handset, from Mitsubishi Electric, features a touch-screen that will let users send handwritten messages and drawings, and likely figure in some gaming applications. Chicago - Mdog.com on Tuesday launched mobile editions of popular websites including eBay, Craigslist, Wikipedia, Citysearch and MySpace. The free Mdog.com portal is compatible will all carrier services on any Web-enabled mobile device. The new mobile sites will allow users to securely view post bids on eBay, and view online classifieds from Craigslist, among other features. Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts on Tuesday announced the launch of "The Sims Stories," a new line of laptop-friendly games that feature evolving storylines. The episodic "Sims Life Stories" game includes 12 chapters, in which players follow the lives of one of two Sims characters.
