Culver City, Calif. - Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced on Tuesday that its Blu-ray Disc title "Casino Royale" has now shipped 100,000 units, since its release on March 13. The company said the film also debuted in the Top 10 on Amazon.com's DVD sales list -- a first for any high-definition film. "As a point of comparison, the first DVD title to ship 100,000 units took approximately 11 months ('Air Force One', in February 1998)," said SPHE Worldwide president David Bishop. Espoo, Finland - Nokia on Tuesday introduced its Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, a portable, handheld computer with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support that can be used for Internet browsing, e-mail, Internet calling and media playback. New York - Sirius Satellite Radio announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with automaker MINI USA, to offer Sirius as a factory-installed option with a lifetime subscription on 2007 MINI Cooper hardtops. San Francisco - HandHeld Entertainment, a maker of portable media players and operator of video download sites, said on Tuesday that it has acquired UnOriginal.co.uk for $500,000. The deal includes $250,000 in cash payable over the next 15 months and $250,000 in HandHeld stock. UnOriginal.co.uk is a site focused on user-generated videos, pictures and games optimized for searches. Launched in 2004, the site attracts close to 900,000 unique visitors a month and has had more than 82 million page views since its launch. Orlando, Fla. - Clear Channel Radio, the nation's largest radio station owner, said on Tuesday that it has placed music programming from 10 of its stations on mSpot, a mobile radio service for cell phones. Palo Alto, Calif.-based mSpot's mobile music, radio and movie service also distributes content from Disney, Universal Pictures, Marketwatch and Lionsgate, via carriers including Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Telus and Bell Mobility. Orlando, Fla. - FunMobility on Tuesday introduced its user-generated, mobile video-sharing service, America's Best Mobile Flix (AFLIX). AFLIX allows users to shoot, submit and watch videos generated by other users from their cell phones.
