Forrester Research Buys Rival Giga Information Group for $51.3 Million
Cambridge, Mass. -- Forrester Research, a provider of technology-related research and analysis services, announced on Tuesday that it will acquire rival Giga Information Group, in a stock deal valued at $51.3 million. The deal is expected to close at the end of February. "Giga brings deep IT research that augments our emerging technology focus, as well as approximately 900 new client relationships," said Forrester chairman and CEO George F. Colony.
