Cisco Completes Acquisition of KiSS Technology
San Jose, Calif. -- Cisco Systems, the San Jose, Calif.-based maker of networking equipment, said on Tuesday that it has completed its $61 million acquisition of Denmark's KiSS Technology, a maker of networked entertainment devices. The deal, first announced in July, is the second acquisition for Cisco's Linksys division, which makes Internet telephone, wireless and networking hardware. KiSS's product portfolio includes home video products such as networked DVD players and networked DVD recorders.
