Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced on Wednesday that its Club Pogo subscription-based online casual games service, launched just over two years ago, now claims one million paying subscribers. EA said that 75% of subscribers are women, with an average age of 35-plus. The service is an outgrowth of EA's free Pogo.com site, which claims 3.6 million daily visitors. The premium Club Pogo service, which costs $4.99 per month or $29 per year, adds larger cash prizes, private chat and other features in an ad-free environment.
