New York - Atari on Tuesday shipped its "The Matrix: Path of Neo" title for Xbox and the PC to retailers. Developed by Atari's Shiny Entertainment studio in collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and the Wachowski brothers -- creators of the film trilogy -- the game is a sequel to Atari's multi-million-unit selling "Enter the Matrix." Separately, the company said it has licensed the Unreal Engine 3 video game physics engine from Epic Games, for use in the creation of games for next-generation consoles. The game engine has been used in titles including "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell," "Deus Ex" and "America's Army: Special Forces."
