U.K. Consumers Join Legal Battle over iPod Nano Players

London - Consumers from the U.K. have joined a legal battle against Apple over allegedly defective screens on iPod Nano music players. Apple has received numerous complaints about scratched or broken screens, and while the company admitted to a number of flaws with a small batch of Nanos, it denied that the player was more likely to scratch than other iPods. A similar case was filed against Apple in the U.S. last month. Both lawsuits claim that the problems with the Nano screen are due to a design flaw. What's more, the lawsuits argue that Apple was aware of the problem, but chose to ignore it in order to rush the players to market.
