Navarre Corporation Gets Nasdaq Delisting NoticeAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on November 17, 2005 - 3:56am.
Minneapolis - Navarre Corporation, whose holdings include video game publisher Encore and FUNimation, a distributor of Japanese anime imports, announced on Thursday that it has received notification from the Nasdaq that its shares are in danger of being delisted from the exchange. The company did not include an auditors' review of its financial statements for its quarter ended Sept. 30, or provide requisite certifications that are requirements for continued listing on the exchange. Minnesota-based Navarre said the omission resulted from focus on its intention to restate financial results for the years 2003-2005, adding that it would submit the necessary information for continued listing on the Nasdaq once it completes the restatement reports.
