Kontiki to Power P2P Movie Download Service for BSkyB

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Kontiki, a provider of peer-to-peer content distribution technology, announced on Tuesday that British Sky Broadcasting (Sky) has deployed its system to deliver feature-length movies, sports and entertainment programs over the Internet. The Sky by broadband service will at launch offer more than 200 copy-protected movies for free to millions of Sky customers in the U.K. and Ireland.
