Nintendo to Ship Multiplayer "Tetris DS" on March 20

Redmond, Wash. - Nintendo of America announced on Tuesday that it plans to ship "Tetris DS" for its DS handheld game console to retailers on March 20. The DS version of the popular puzzle game features Nintendo-themed modes, based on elements of games including "Super Mario Bros.," "The Legend of Zelda" and "Metroid." The touch-controlled game also incorporates use of the free Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, to enable online multiplayer play for up to 10 DS owners.
