Spoken Word Audio Distributor MediaBay Retains MediaTech Capital

Cedar Knolls, N.J. - MediaBay, a distributor of spoken word audio content, announced on Tuesday that it has retained MediaTech Capital partners to assist the company in reviewing strategic options, and to accelerate wireless distribution of its content library. New Jersey-based MediaBay already distributes its old-time radio shows, audiobooks and other programming through MusicNet, MSN Music and satellite radio services. "To accelerate the company's distribution in the global wireless marketplace our board has authorized an acquisition program," said MediaBay CEO Jeff Dittus. "As part of this strategy, the company will also evaluate seeking strategic partners that can assist with this strategy and lower our execution risk."
