Manages the user-centered design process for NPR Digital Media (npr.org, on demand platforms, etc.), including: defining and implementing project methodologies in accordance with best industry practices; supervising the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data about user behavior; and fostering a creative process that results in innovative, high-quality design of interactive products and services. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (which might also include Business Administration, Communication Design, Marketing, Computer Science, or Cognitive Science); specific study on the Human-Computer Interaction/Human Factors, Software Engineering, and/or Project Management is highly desirable.
