Mexican Wireless Carrier Telcel Launches MobiTV Service
Mexico City - Mexican wireless carrier Telcel, a unit of America Movil, announced this week that it has launched the MobiTV live mobile TV service for cell phones in Latin America. Berkeley, Calif.-based MobiTV plans to expand its Latin American service through America Movil's Claro Brazil and CTI Argentina. MobiTV also powers mobile TV services from Sprint, Cingular, Alltel, 3 and Orange.
