Indianapolis, Ind. - Radio station owner Emmis Communications said on Friday that it is proceeding with its integration of iTunes Music Stores into its radio station websites. The customized stores will reflect each station's playlist, featuring top picks from on-air jockeys and celebrity guests. Emmis already launched iTunes Stores for its hip-hop stations WQHT (Hot 97) in New York and KPWR (Power 106) in Los Angeles. The company today launched iTunes Stores on its sites for Chicago alt-rock station WKQX, and contemporary hits station WNOU in Indianapolis. Emmis plans to roll out iTunes integration to all of its radio markets in the next month.
