Billboard: "In Digital Pricing Wars, Music's Value Open to Debate"

New York - Billboard magazine recently published an article on the future of digital music pricing, examining how the industry arrived at the current 99-cent price point for digital songs. While major labels have recently said publicly they'd like to charge more than 99 cents for new releases and less for library titles, the Justice Dept. and N.Y. State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer have launched ongoing probes into possible collusion among the labels on digital song prices.
