10th Annual Webby Awards Presented at Ceremony in New York City

New York - The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences held its 10 Annual Webby Awards ceremony on Tuesday night, where those recognized for their outstanding websites in a range of categories gathered and delivered the Awards' trademark five-word acceptance speeches. The event was held in New York City and emceed by "Daily Show" correspondent Rob Corddry. When accepting his Webby Lifetime Achievement Award, Prince told attendees, "Everything you think is true." Other stand-out speeches included NationalGeographic.com (Best Science Website): "More than just bare breasts"; Arianna Huffington (Best Political Blog): "Darlings. Make blogs, not war"; Thomas Friedman (Webby Person of the Year): "The world really is flat"; and ESPN.com (Best Sports Site): "Sports? Pornography? Sports? Pornography? Sports!"
