XM to Provide Free Radios to U.S. Open Golf Spectators
Washington - XM Satellite Radio, a provider of subscription radio programming with 6.5 million subscribers, announced on Wednesday that it will provide 1,000 portable XM radios each day to spectators at the U.S. Open golf tournament this week. The spectators will be able to listen to the company's live play-by-play coverage of the tournament for free.
