Dallas - Dot-com billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has invested an undisclosed amount in a website that will report on stock fraud and other corporate malfeasance, the Associated Press reported. ShareSleuth.com was founded by St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Christopher Carey, and will also feature reporting from burned investors when it launches next month. "With newspapers getting increasingly locally focused, I thought maybe the best way to tell these stories, which tend to be national or international in scope, would be via the Internet and other multimedia," Carey told AP. "I tossed it out as a general proposition, and (Cuban) was interested." Cuban said that ShareSleuth.com could utilize multimedia resources from his HDNet network, and that stories from the site could potentially air on the high-definition network.
