Bethesda Softworks Signs Johnny Depp to Voice "Pirates" Video Game
Rockville, Md. - Independent video game publisher Bethesda Softworks announced on Friday that it has signed actor Johnny Depp to provide the voice of Captain Jack Sparrow for its "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow" title for PlayStation 2 and the PC. The game is being developed by Seven Studios, under license from Disney's Buena Vista Games, for release on June 27.
