San Mateo, Calif. - RGB Networks, a maker of video processing tools for video service providers, said that it has raised $20 million in its third round of funding, led by new investor Focus Ventures of Palo Alto. Previous investors Accel Partners, Comcast Interactive Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mitsui & Company Venture Partners also participated. The company said that its valuation has jumped to $110 million, an increase of 150% from its previous valuation 18 months ago. San Mateo, Calif.-based RGB's video processing tools allow cable operators and telecoms to create switched digital video networks that manage and deliver services such as video-on-demand (VOD) and targeted advertising.
