Wireless Developer Envio Networks Raises $7 Million in First Round

Foxboro, Mass. - Envio Networks, a developer of wireless messaging and content management technology, has raised $7 million in its first round of venture capital, according to a report by Private Equity Week. Massachusetts-based Envio is a member of Qualcomm's FLO Forum, a wireless industry coalition created to support the company's technology for mobile TV whose members also include Motorola, PacketVideo and Telephia. However, Envio has not yet publicized details on its technology or business plan.
