Kasenna to Power MPEG-4 IPTV Service for Cavalier Telephone
Sunnyvale, Calif. - Kasenna, a provider of Internet-based TV delivery technology, announced on Monday that Virginia-based Cavalier Telephone and TV will use its technology to launch the first MPEG-4-based broadband TV service in the U.S. Cavalier's 35,000 business and 215,000 residential customers will have access to the service, which will include higher-quality MPEG-4 video in addition to on-screen caller ID and video-on-demand.
