Dell Signs on to Sponsor World Series of Video Games

New York - The World Series of Video Games announced that PC maker Dell has signed on as an official sponsor of the gaming competition series, with chairman Michael Dell to present over $225,000 in cash and prizes to winners at the Intel Summer Championship next month in Texas. Dell will provide XPS M1710 laptops, as well as plasma TVs and LCD displays for the "Quake 4" competitions during the championships. Produced by Games Media Properties, the World Series of Video Games is an international video game competition circuit that features multiple gaming platforms.
