Authored by Mark Hefflinger on July 7, 2006 - 1:07pm.
Atlanta - EarthLink, the large Internet service provider, and Time Warner Cable have announced that they have reached a new agreement to provide EarthLink broadband service on Time Warner Cable systems. Under the new agreement, the parties will make available EarthLink broadband service to the 19 million homes "passed by" Time Warner Cable's broadband cable systems. This service area is expected to increase upon completion of Time Warner Cable's previously announced transactions with Adelphia and Comcast. EarthLink service has been offered by Time Warner Cable since November 2000.
