Cingular, Conde Nast Contest to Name "Hottest Band in America"

New York - Cingular Wireless said on Wednesday that it partnered with Conde Nast Media Group to launch a contest to name "the hottest band in America." The "Want You To Sound Off" contest asks Cingular subscribers to vote for one of six bands -- 30 Seconds to Mars, Angels & Airwaves, Blue October, IMA Robot, Pink Spiders or The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus -- with the band receiving the most votes to play atop the marquee at Radio City Music Hall during Conde Nast Media Group's Fashion Rocks 2006 concert.
