San Francisco - Fox Interactive Media, the unit of News Corp. that controls online properties including MySpace, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with the National PTA and Common Sense Media on a multi-million dollar Internet safety campaign. Starring Keifer Sutherland from Fox TV's "24," the ads will air on Fox's cable TV networks, as well as on Fox websites including MySpace, IGN.com, AmericanIdol.com and RottenTomatoes.com. The ads will be accompanied by an Internet Survival Guide for Parents created by Common Sense Media, a non-profit that provides family-friendly media reviews. A recent national poll from Common Sense found that 85% of parents considered the Internet the most risky form of media for kids.
