Fox Soccer Websites Report Record Traffic During World Cup

Los Angeles - News Corp.'s Fox Soccer Channel on Friday announced that its websites saw record traffic over the past month during the FIFA World Cup. According to ComScore data, FoxSoccer.com drew 4.9 million unique visitors during June, while 14.7 million users visited FoxSports.com. The sites saw traffic peak on June 22, when Ghana defeated the U.S. FoxSoccer.com now plans to incorporate several new features introduced for the World Cup to all of its soccer coverage, including live scoreboards; real-time match trackers; free video feeds of Fox Soccer Channel programs; live at-match blogs from Fox Soccer Channel commentators and columnists; and extensive photo galleries.
