San Diego - Marvel Comics announced on Tuesday that it has signed a multi-year licensing deal with Planetwide Games, to create new content for a Comic Book Creator application that allows fans to use Marvel superheroes and artwork in their own homemade Web comics. The deal also allows Planetwide to create and distribute "Booster Packs" for Comic Book Creator featuring special categories of Marvel characters.
