Los Angeles - News Corp.'s MySpace social networking site on Tuesday announced the launch of MySpace Comedy, a section that will feature pages for more than 7,500 comedians and audio and video content from comedy club partner The Improv. The site will allow comedians to post tour dates and share audio and video clips of their stand-up routines. It will also spotlight broader comedy events around the country, aggregate funny viral videos and offer forums where members can trade jokes and talk about comedians. In conjunction with the launch, MySpace signed on as the title media sponsor of the "Just for Laughs" comedy festival, taking place this week in Montreal.
