Burlingame, Calif. - Limbo 41414, a developer of text-message-based games, said on Wednesday that it has raised $7 million in its second round of funding from Azure Capital Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. The company, which had raised $2 million in an unannounced seed round in October, has now raised a total of $9 million since its inception. Limbo's core product is a cell phone text messaging game that integrates the components of both a sweepstakes and an auction. The winner is the person making the lowest bid that no other player makes. Since launching in December, the Burlingame, Calif.-based company, which has 32 employees, has run more than 130 auctions, with winning bids totaling less than $600.
