N.Y. Times: David Pogue Interviews Wonkette's Ana Marie CoxAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on July 27, 2006 - 11:57am.
New York - The New York Times on Thursday published an interview by technology columnist David Pogue with Ana Marie Cox, the political blogger behind "Wonkette" who was just named the Washington editor of Time.com. "My rule of thumb was you don't do anything that's gonna get anyone fired, indicted or divorced," said Cox. "And so, even when I wrote about things that were pretty controversial, I tried to do what I could to make people realize that they should bring skepticism to these kinds of rumors. I'm thinking right now specifically of the rumor that John Kerry had an affair with an intern, which I wrote about. But I also said from the very beginning I found it hard to believe that John Kerry would have sex with anyone, you know, much less an intern. "
