Interactive Television Networks Launches European Subsidiary

Irvine, Calif. - Interactive Television Networks, a provider of IPTV and interactive TV equipment and services, announced on Friday that it has launched a European subsidiary in Luxembourg. ITVN Europe will begin deployment of 5,000 of its IPTV set-top boxes in the U.K. and Germany in September. "Over the past 12 months ITVN has been studying developments in the growing European market for narrowcast entertainment and IPTV," said ITVN CEO Charles Prast. "Initial contact with local distribution partners indicates a strong market for an independent TV delivery platform focusing initially on niche and on demand content. ITVN (Europe) will address this market and we are excited to leverage our U.S. experience overseas."
