New York - Jupitermedia, an Internet company whose products include technology news and image libraries, announced on Monday that it has acquired the assets of RoyaltyFreeMusic.com, which includes over 1,100 royalty-free tracks. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal follows New York-based Jupitermedia's other recent music-related acquisitions of the Steve Shapiro Music Library, Crank City Music and BBM.net. "Royalty free music has become an increasingly important and significant tool for those involved in virtually every aspect of Internet, film or media-related production and advertising. We are excited to add such a high quality collection to our growing online music business," said Jupitermedia chairman and CEO Alan M. Meckler.
