ROK Entertainment Group Launches Mobile TV Service in U.S.

Beverly Hills, Calif. - ROK Entertainment Group on Tuesday introduced its ROK TV mobile TV service in the U.S. The 2.5G and 3G service currently offers 13 channels -- such as TV Reggaeton, OutThere TV and Noche De Salsa -- with subscription rates of $0.99 per channel. U.K.-based ROK, which recently opened U.S. offices in Beverly Hills, Calif., said it has also licensed content from over 50 providers and plans to launch additional channels in coming weeks. The ROK TV service has been live in the U.K. since late last year.
