Director of Business Development – PlayPhone – San Jose

PlayPhone seeks an entrepreneurially minded business development executive to play a key role in managing existing B2B partners and building new relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in a small to mid-sized startup that has experienced rapid growth and can make critical decisions in real-time. Internet and/or mobile entertainment experience and familiarity with building marketing programs to drive revenue in online channels is a plus. A track record managing profitable external business relationships is a must. The successful candidate will be able to contribute new ideas about how to expand PlayPhone’s B2B business, and the relationships to make deals happen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage key PlayPhone B2B clients and develop marketing strategies to drive more revenue through these channels
• Develop new Business Development sales and marketing materials to be presented to clients virtually and in person
• Build new B2B relationships to extend the reach of PlayPhone’s network of portals
• Develop and interpret new metrics to evaluate success of current businesses and recommend areas of improvement
• Assist the VP, Business Development directly in building the vision for PlayPhone’s B2B business

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have prior experience working in a fast paced small to mid sized startup environment and be a detail oriented self-starter
• Must be able to demonstrate prior experience managing relationships with large corporations
• Must be able to present track record of successfully growing a business and meeting revenue targets
• Must have experience building professional-grade sales and marketing materials in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and other key business applications
• BA or equivalent work experience required
