Direct Marketing Coordinator - Sierra Online Games - Los Angeles

Sierra Online Games is looking to fill a role that will require a blend of marketing skills from the creative and analytical perspective. The Direct Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing and analytical support through analysis of the customer database, marketing campaigns, and e-commerce transactions. He/She will also assist in other areas of online game strategy and marketing from analyzing new product concepts to researching the latest business models in online gaming. Reporting into the Product Content Manager, this role will work on programs that support all products in the Sierra Online group.

Responsibilities:
- Support analysis of internal consumer databases to develop targeted marketing campaigns - Support retention and acquisition campaigns such as newsletters and email blasts to the customer database
- Assist in analysis customer usage patterns using internal data to develop item and pricing strategy for micro-transaction based games
- Research and strategic ad-hoc analysis
- Content analysis and management
- Support evaluation of product concept submissions or builds through the use of consumer testing, the analysis of comparables, and personal insights
- Manage digital distribution reports. Develop and update online quarterly trends and news report
- Fulfill requests from marketing team as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of the gaming industry, particularly the online space - prior industry experience is a plus
- Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendation. Strong analytical ability and proven problem solving capabilities. Able to develop innovative solutions when problems arise
- Able to data mine consumer database to develop analysis and recommendations
- Excellent research skills; resourceful at every level
- Responsible and highly motivated self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and oral skills; ability to clearly communicate at all levels. Detail-oriented, highly organized, very adaptable to ever-changing requirements
- Ability to read and speak Chinese or Korean is plus but NOT required
