New York - IAC/InterActiveCorp, whose holdings include Ticketmaster, Citysearch, Match.com and Evite, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired a majority interest in Connected Ventures, the parent company of comedy site CollegeHumor.com. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1999, New York-based CollegeHumor offers videos, pictures, articles and jokes to an audience of more than 6 million monthly users; the company is also developing a film for Paramount Pictures. CollegeHumor founders Josh Abramson and Ricky Van Veen will continue to oversee operations at the company.
