Electronic Arts Details Fifth-Annual "EA Sports Madden Challenge"
Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts on Wednesday announced details of its fifth-annual "EA Sports Madden Challenge," a video game tournament that will award a grand prize of $100,000 to the top player of its "Madden NFL 07" video game for Xbox and Xbox 360. Best Buy, Microsoft and Sprint are sponsoring the tournament, which will feature 31 regional competitions. Gamers from the U.S., Mexico, Canada, the U.K., Germany and Hong Kong will compete for a trip to Hawaii for the finals, to be held during Pro Bowl week in February 2007.
