Singapore - Anytime, a Singapore-based provider of video-on-demand programming over IPTV, broadband and digital cable networks in the Asia Pacific region, announced on Thursday that it has received an undisclosed sum from Intel Capital. The company's other investors include Fox, Sony and Warner Bros. Anytime has existing carriage deals in Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, and the rights to license into 14 territories in Asia Pacific. The company also announced plans to launch Anytime TV, a new on-demand portal that will deliver Hollywood movies, TV shows, music videos and premium games throughout the region. Anytime said the investment from Intel Capital will accelerate the availability of its service via the Internet to homes in the Asia Pacific region.
