San Francisco - The latest issue of WIRED magazine includes a feature story on Canadian record label Nettwerk Music Group and its CEO, Terry McBride. The label is breaking new ground in digital music with a promotion for its band Barenaked Ladies, by putting the ProTools files -- or the actual separate vocal and instrument tracks mixed together by producers to create an album -- for all 29 songs from the band's new album on the Internet for fans to remix at will. The multitrack WAV files will be available for $2.49 for each song.
