Blinkx to Power New Lycos Search Feature
Waltham, Mass. - Lycos announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Blinkx, a searchable index of Web video, to launch a new Lycos video search feature. Last month, Lycos launched a new broadband platform that features a range of entertainment content. The company said its deal with San Francisco-based Blinkx -- with which it will share revenue generated from search results -- builds on its strategy to expand its products and services for broadband users.
